Pros

At the global level, ENGIE fostered a supportive culture with strong employee investment — including competitive bonus structures and meaningful professional development opportunities.

Cons

The new leadership on the Houston B2B side — Supply and Retail — lacked experience with IT delivery frameworks and governance best practices, which led to inconsistent decision-making and eroded the structures our teams relied on. More concerning, there was a willingness to misrepresent program health and outcomes to stakeholders — something I was not willing to participate in.
