Pros

Emergicon can generate revenue for their clients.

Cons

Leadership at Emergicon fosters fear and intimidation rather than collaboration, despite the company’s stated values. Morale is low, and employees often feel uncertain about job security. Decision-making is centralized under one executive, leading to a lack of accountability and transparency. Serious compliance issues, including a major HIPAA violation, have not been properly addressed. Overall, the culture is toxic, and leadership practices negatively impact both employees and the organization as a whole. The company no longer operates with a “client first” approach, as decisions often seem driven by internal priorities rather than client needs. Executive leadership has a reputation for dismissing client concerns and is quick to terminate relationships with clients who ask questions.

Pros

Co-workers were very talented and positive to work alongside with. The work to help EMS and Fire first responders was rewarding.

Cons

The work culture used to be positive, with managers showing trust and allowing employees to maintain a healthy work-life balance. However, recent leadership decisions have created an environment that feels increasingly distrustful. Employee monitoring software was implemented to track all activity and gaslighting from certain leaders became more common, contributing to a noticeable decline in morale. Many talented coworkers either left voluntarily or were pushed out, which only amplified the sense of instability. Creating an atmosphere of fear does not improve productivity or engagement. Additionally, pay increases were minimal and did not keep pace with inflation.
