Pros

While representing the DMG Mori brand the upside was working with equipment that is the Cadillac of the industry. A fair amount of autonomy was given to each region to do what is needed to support customers.

Cons

Lack of training. Way too sales driven and not enough investment and time spent in building employees technical skills. On boarding is a joke. Very high rate of turn over.

We're sorry to hear about your on-boarding experience. We have taken steps to improve the process at both a corporate level - by being more hands on during the process - while providing local leaders with additional resources and training to help ensure a smooth, more efficient, on-boarding process. Our CTO has also worked to provide additional training and learning opportunities to our engineers around the country.

Pros

I’ve had a very positive experience with Ellison Technologies so far. One of the standout aspects was the hiring process. It was impressively fast, and the team kept me informed at every step, which made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. The onboarding process was also very well organized. I felt welcomed right away and had everything I needed to get up to speed quickly. It’s clear the company puts effort into setting new employees up for success. The work environment is friendly and collaborative. People are approachable, and there’s a strong sense of respect across teams. I especially appreciate that there’s no micromanagement. Leadership trusts employees to do their jobs and values their skills and expertise. That level of trust creates a more positive and productive workplace.

Cons

Nothing I can think of in this area.
