My boss was friendly, understanding, and taught me way more than I had originally expected. He promised to try and show me as much of the accounting process as possible, and by the end of my internship, I had done almost every job inside the accounting department. Everyone I worked with was also great at applauding others for a job well done - I received countless compliments.

It can be a little boring at times after year-end is over and there isn't much left to do. Entering payables for a whole day can be pretty mind-numbing.
