Pros

Free Drink On Shift Uniform Training Platforms Brand

Cons

Management On Site are required to frequently cover of site upto 80 miles from base. No/Poor Higher Management Controls, when visiting store are not seeking opportunities and praise where due. Management Required on regular basis to exceed paid hours and recieve no time back due to shortage of deployment hours therefore do not look after there Management teams at site level. Regional Visits very confusing as not only are mixed messages they actually undermine the store Management teams to other partners creating poor instore morale and leaving partners and SSV to question the manager and the Area goals. I have worked in a Starbucks for just under 1 year as a store manager seen 4 Area Manager changes and in our Area of nine stores seen over 20 Management changes and 100 plus partners leave on false promises. The Bonus Scheme is unattainable and unrealistic you would be better looking after sites through partners feedback and being in touch and affordability to build in the hours to train and develop teams. Make discretionary payments to managers who work above and beyond including overtime capped pro rota - Celebrate success and gain retention throughout the estate via praise and opportunities. I enjoy the brand concept and sense of belonging - I want to be hear and I want to do well that my moto just want approach to us managers as one with respect and trust

Pros

It's a job if you have nothing else

Cons

For the most expensive gas station somehow they manage to still be the lowest paid - only being offered a $1 raise for a leadership position when I have over 5 years of management experience is disgusting. They only care about getting people to sign up for rewards and will write you up if you don't get people putting in their number - they basically expect you to hold a gun to the guest head and force them to put their number in - district and regional management only care about juicing their bonuses while the rest of us struggle to pay rent every month - brought this up to regional manger over 3 months ago with a "I'll look into it" yeah right buddy..
