Being a startup you get to learn a lot & work with the top executives at the company.
Cons
- The company has no process against how they maintain the organizational hierarchy, how they give promotions, increments & change job titles.
- They do not value their employees & their hard work, neither are the employees given a chance to move to the next level, they keep hiring from outside due to which hardly any employees get a chance to grow.

- Most of the leadership lacks technical data expertise which creates friction in the sales motions and positioning.
- Currently a small total addressable market. EDB does not compete well with cloud competitors and primarily is geared towards on-prem Postgres in a market that continues to migrate to the cloud.
- High turnover across the sales org.
- Long, difficult sales motion accompanied by expectations for quick wins.
