Honestly, I'm not even sure where to begin with this dumpster fire of a company. ECi Technology Group, or as I like to call it, "Escape Immediately," is a masterclass in how to demoralize and disrespect your employees.
Let's start with the pay. Absolutely insulting. Living in a Very High Cost of Living (VHCOL) city, I was basically paying to work there. They squeeze every penny, and you'll be living paycheck to paycheck, guaranteed.
Then there's the work environment. Think "1950s office drama" mixed with a dash of "corporate cult." The "sir" and "madam" nonsense from upper management is beyond condescending. You're not respected, you're just a cog in their machine. Skilled employees wisely use this place as a stepping stone, grabbing what experience they can before bolting. The ones who stay? Let's just say a lot of them struggle with English and probably don't have many other options.
HR? Don't even get me started. They're basically hall monitors with spreadsheets. Micro-managing is their specialty. Want to take a vacation? Be prepared to provide proof of your travel. Because apparently, they don't trust you to actually use your time off. Privacy? What's that?
The whole place is just toxic. You'll feel undervalued, overworked, and underpaid. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. Seriously, anywhere else.
