Cons
Managers belittle, micromanage and bully based on their opinion of you (ie if you are a different sex to them) Higher management use middle management to spy on their staff and relay information about everything that is being spoken about. EVEN if it’s confidential and told in private. One manager thinks he knows more than anyone and will question everything their teams say. No trust. This same manager will sit in client calls with you and ask questions at the end of the call that have already been answered previously because be wasn’t paying an attention or just wants to undermine you. In the end just makes himself look silly. He will also come to a site without all the correct PPE and walk around and “manage” your site while you are standing right there. He also removes you from teams groups because he has thrown his toys out of the pram over one thing. He then stops CCing you in emails for your own project but doesn’t notify the client why he isn’t including you so the client keeps ringing you. He also then will refuse to talk to you and make it awkward for the whole office. Overall just a disrespectful manager and attitude. And this is just one.
