Pros

I have been here for 4 weeks and so far, I have to say it's the best startup experience I have had. The people here are genuinely nice and a pleasure to work with. Everyone has been very collaborative in working on problems and fixes. Having end customers in constructions means very early hours for the field and support teams, but everyone is very dedicated to the vision and mission of the company to make sure the customers have the best experience with our Field Printer robots. Kudos to the teams. I have also never been in a company where the employees still hang around pass 5 pm on Fridays, whether finishing up their work or playing ping pong and socializing. I am more used to people not coming in or leaving early on Fridays. To me, it's a testament of people genuinely liking the workplace. The company has a great vibe and energy. The employees not only work hard but like to have fun as well. There was dress-up Friday and Cinco de Mayo Tacos by one of the employees who cooked and served tacos for everyone. It's also a dog-friendly workplace and we have an office dog, Mia.

Cons

Nothing in particular. It is a startup company with many of the same growing pain problems, but with the quality of people here, I believe we are in a much better spot than many other startups.

Everyone's working together, whether you’re in sales, customer success, or engineering. It's a real team effort. 3. Room to Grow: The company is growing fast, which means there are lots of opportunities to move up or learn new things. 4. Making a Difference: It feels good to know that what you're working on actually makes construction safer and more efficient. 5. Flexibility: Depending on your role, there's often flexibility with your hours and sometimes remote work options. 6. Supportive Environment: Dusty cares about your growth. They encourage learning and provide opportunities for further education. 7. Exciting Projects: The projects are unique and groundbreaking. It's pretty cool to be part of something new and innovative.

Cons

1. Fast-Paced: Things move quickly here. It can be a bit intense at times, but if you like a fast-paced environment, it’s a good fit. 2. Limited Resources: Because we’re growing, sometimes there aren’t enough resources to go around. It can make getting things done a bit challenging. 3. Shifting Priorities: Projects can change direction quickly. You’ve got to be adaptable and ready for change. 4. Work-Life Balance: There are times, especially during big projects, when work can spill into personal time. It’s a bit of a balancing act. 5. Still Building: We're a relatively new company, so not all processes are set in stone. There’s a bit of figuring things out as we go. 6. Role Clarity: Sometimes roles and responsibilities aren’t super clear as we’re still defining things. You might have to wear a few different hats. 7. High Expectations: The bar is set pretty high here. It can be stressful, but it also pushes you to do your best work.
