Duquesne University isn't the worst place to work - Assistant Director Duquesne University Employee Review

Pros

401K 8% match, tuition remission at 100% for the first degree and 50% for a second degree, a few extra paid holidays off than most because of those catholic holidays, and a set schedule that usually doesn't require you to work later or work on weekends.

Cons

No flex time, no telecommuting, can't roll over your vacation days year to year or cash them out, no accruing and earning vacation days - you get 22 days of vacation regardless if you've worked there 2 years or 13 years (which is my case), no bonuses, and no consistent pay increase (which the last several years have either been a pay freeze or a 2% increase - which usually doesn't even cover the increase in benefits or parking).
