Pros

- Sometimes shifts are worked around your schedule - Received one free bakery item during your break - Free drinks if you have your own reusable cup (except for espresso drinks and frozen drinks - Reduced employee meal during your break - Overall a laidback experience during downtime - PTO (but only 1 hour for 40 hours worked)

Cons

- Instances of wage theft (being clocked out without your knowledge to "keep time low," hours being adjusted if worked beyond shift, etc.) - No manager during the night shift (couldn't do refunds for customers, little supervision or direction during the afternoon) - Sometimes would be left alone on a shift with not enough training in certain positions

Pros

Every once in a while you are granted a 15 minute break

Cons

There are significant concerns regarding management’s leadership and communication practices. Employees often receive criticism in a manner that feels disrespectful rather than constructive, and support from management is limited despite high expectations placed on staff. Professional boundaries are also a concern, as discussions between management and employees about employees occur inappropriately among coworkers. Greater emphasis on respectful communication, employee support, and professionalism would help foster a more positive workplace culture. They also promise pay, after employees were not paid correctly management basically state “too bad I can’t fix it” even though that is illegal in the state of VA.
