Pros
Great opportunity to advance if you put in the hard work it may happen if you know the people to contact. Many people moved from Customer Service to other Corporate positions within the company within 4 years.
Cons
The on call, all hands on deck approach when there are at home agents is not the most ideal. A lot of people travel a great distance to get to the office and in the snow and ice of the carolinas-it is hard to justify risking your life to repeat to people what the VRU( Virtual Response Unit) is saying prior to them reaching you.
