Pros

Very thorough, like absolute rule. Scripts are long, and can be cut down, although Rhonda Duffy and/or her staff record, or listen in to your calls without your knowledge to keep you on track. They want your email password to be certain you are doing things right. Only ask once, and get it straight to keep sharp and on board!

Cons

Rhonda Duffy is crude, unprofessional, curses at every meeting, and insults agents in front of everyone. Whatever position you apply for, she'll decide what SHE wants you to do . New agents should not take her $200 test course as they will never be able to write the contract and pass. You must pay $220 for GAR forms, without knowing that you have either passed, or will be writing contracts. She is constantly changing things, and is a control freak. Too bad she doesn't show her real personality on her YouTube videos. She is known in the industry to be "sue happy", and also fines her agents $100 if they miss a monthly meeting, even if they're in the hospital, or if they make one mistake in a contract which is checked over anyway.

I won't apologize for protecting the public by testing ALL agents that want to work for me, as my partner, before they get on the street with a client because if you can't write a contract that protects the public, you should not be on the street telling people that you can. It really is not that hard to fill in a pre-printed contract, is it? I will not apologize for breaking states of mind of people who are stuck in their own head with commission breath and instead need to protect the public with cursing. I will not EVER apologize for changing things and seeking the best result for clients. I will not apologize for rules or scripts that cover every fact that the public needs to know . What I need to do is apologize to my team for bringing on anyone who wants an opportunity to serve the public but is too incompetent to make it happen. I need to change that and test people before I hire them and stop putting myself and my team in stress by lending a hand to people who say that they want to be great. If you work anywhere that you EARN a fine, you should wake up and not earn that fine. If you earn a fine, you are incompetent at the skill and unfortunately this particular skill can cost a consumer thousands of dollars. That is not acceptable. I will not apologize for that. On top of all of that, you have a real estate license. You have already promised that you will do what it takes to protect the public. If you can't write a contract with a checklist, you need to turn your license back in to the GREC. I will continue to be the #1 Agent in the U.S. because I have standards. I will not apologize for being #1, I earned that by doing the right thing. Even when the right thing requires details, controlled actions, changing things, etc... because obviously it is working for me and for the 19,000 sellers who have sold their home with me in 14 years.. Successful people do what others won't. Step Up! Life is easy when you raise your standards.

Pros

DUFFY Realty has been an amazing company to work for and has allowed me to grow in real estate in ways I could have never accomplished with another company. I have been with DUFFY on and off since 2005 and have taken part in each position offered at some point or another. We are a close tribe and take pride in offering cross training so that each person working for our team knows how to do one another's job in the event that someone is out. We have detailed SOP's, training quizzes, videos, manuals etc., and work together to collaborate weekly in team meetings. If you are looking to be a part of something BIG and gather the expertise only accumulated by volume AND with a tribe to support you, look no further!

Cons

I would say the only downside is that when we do have to hire someone new that we all have extremely high standards, and we will expect nothing less than 100% from them. This is because we have to be able to trust that someone working on our behalf is putting our client first. Buying and selling a home can be the biggest purchase of someone's life and that is a huge responsibility. We are transparent and willing to train anyone with the desire to learn, but they have to also be committed to the same level.
