Pros
Learning new skills, great products, fast environment for stylist who don't like to sit around
Cons
*they do not start you at a livable wage for rva *The owner is barely there and she doesn't remember her employees unless you stand out your just a grunt *They will try to convince you to take as little breaks as possible *They insist on looking a certain way/dress code *They pressure you to not take time off or come in even when it's dead and pressure managers to work outside of work unpaid *If you are good at your job they will harp on the smallest matters like your time clock or dress code *The manager asks you to throw in money from your own pocket for work celebrations *Your encouraged to scrub the salon clean for the owner who doesn't do any of it *Management will micro manage and when you express frustration they will find loopholes to fire you such as not being early every single day to your shifts and if you step outside for less then 10 minutes your required to clock out for stealing company time even though they don't pay you enough for your personal time *Exhausting physically if you are working over 6 hours a shift
