Pros
The one thing I love about being a part of the DriveTime family is the company's culture. Our culture is unique. DriveTime is about having fun, driving for results, collaboration and communication. Just as important to me is that DriveTime embraces me for who I am - I can "be myself." At DriveTime you do not have to worry about coming to work to try to be someone your not. DriveTime values each employee's diversity and experiences. We focus on ways to make employees' strengths stronger and their areas of opportunities strengths. Our company continues to get stronger because we have invested a lot in our employees’ professional and personal development. I enjoy my role each day because: - My team is my family. We execute and succeed as a whole. - My team’s success drives my success. - The level of collaboration and communication at all levels of the organization are unbelievably AWESOME! I know this is the second time I say this. - We have a voice – our feedback is heard - Compensation is in line with responsibilities and expectations. Great benefits! - The company embraces change. As soon as we’re “comfortable, we mix it up” - Innovative and trendsetter - GROWTH, GROWTH, and more GROWTH
Cons
If you’re not comfortable with daily feedback, this isn’t the company for you. Feedback although sometimes overused in our company, it is hardly ever misused. The other thing people struggle with is change. If you are not quick to adapt you will struggle at DriveTime. As a retail employee, the demands and expectations of the job are extremely high. The rewards and satisfaction of the job, however, far exceeds the demands. Almost every week I am reminded by a customer or employee why I come to work; it’s because they need me. If you’re looking for a 9-5 job with little satisfaction and a lot of work-life balance (whatever that means), DriveTime retail is not for you. Ownership - our company expects us to own our actions and career. If you like to wait on others you will be left behind. Own it and the sky is the limit.
