The team actually teaches each other here. someone picks up a new approach and shares it rather than hoarding it. ive learned more about instructional design in 10 months here than i did in 18 months at my previous company. management supports external learning too which signals the right values.

Timelines sometimes compress without warning. the ask is always to deliver the same quality in less time which isnt always realistic

I've been here two years. in that time i've had students go from refusing to participate to presenting confidently in front of a group. that doesn't happen because of a curriculum it happens because the environment lets teachers actually teach. management trusts us and gives us space to try things. my best session this year was something i tried on instinct and it worked.

Assessment admin is heavy and some of it is genuinely unnecessary. we spend time on paperwork that doesn't benefit anyone
