Pros

- Before joining, you’ll think you’re doing good work for an untouched market made up mainly of women who need help with their daycare business

Cons

- I resigned with a week away from my last day, but the day after giving in my resignation, the founder tried to dismiss me and said if I came in after today he wouldn’t pay me, that I wasn't worth the money, among many other things. - He has been extremely condescending toward the women on the team. He’s yelled, berated and threatened me with my job in front of others. I have also seen him yelling at other women on the team, leaving many of us feeling uncomfortable and scared to speak up. On more than one occasion, he even made comments about my food choices, saying that they were poor and that my parents clearly hadn’t taught me anything. - He has said terrible things about not wanting that many immigrant people on the Dreamschools platform. He once expressed that the work performance was poor of two employees “because they’re white” - He has disrespected my private time by calling me on weekends and once yelled at me for not working on a weekend. During my interviews, he told me he was cool with work from home days but when I started working there, he got mad the first time I took a work from home day because I was feeling sick. I was told by other employees as well that he has called them on weekends or even past 11pm. He has even stopped me and other employees on our way out and kept us for an hour, sometimes longer. - He once yelled at me in front of others because I was working in the common area of the coworking space where the office is. - I was told many things about the company/product during the interview process which I found out to be lies shortly after joining the company and noticed unethical practices like being made to completely lie to customers. - On many occasions, the founder changed his vision of the company which implied to me that he didn’t really know where he wanted to take the company or what his goal was. - No benefits, 10 day vacation on paper, poor culture and values.

Pros

I have 3 young ones and they're really accommodating with a flexible work schedule. Boss is very easy going and approachable. And his door is always open to talk to, and really values open communication and team cohesion.

Cons

It's a start up that values hard work. If you're looking for a basic 9-5 where you only do one thing, you should probably look elsewhere. The work here will really test your creativity.

Pros

A talented group of people that are passionate about growing a great product. The organization listens to every piece of client feedback, and this is seen in how smooth the platform operates and how the technology has evolved. Great snacks, cozy office, and lots of opportunity to grow and contribute.

Cons

A high attention to detail is placed during product sprints, and team provides a lot of support to their programs, so the pace of work can be high at times. Otherwise no cons, I really enjoyed my time working here.
