      Pros

      Interesting work and very flexible working arrangements.

      Cons

      Matrix org is culturally isolating. You rarely work with your team, and projects have continually rotating team members that sit scattered throughout the building so everything is always online all the time. Moving up the job ladder seems incredibly political. Weird IT. Stingy on hardware for projects and people. Stingy with phones. Monitors are small. VPN connection is slow. IT wants everyone on Windows.

      Pros

      Interesting work, good colleagues, company is supportive and there is good work/life balance. There are leadership opportunities for those to want them. Pay is competitive.

      Cons

      Raises haven't kept up with inflation. It's hard to break in as a new employee. There is a lot of change, mostly for the better but a lot of change.
