Pros
Culture is a plus. The engineering/sales staff.are friendly. The owners are passionate about their company and the individuals that work for them. Training is good for both sales and engineering staff. There is no fear of sending staff for training. If you're an engineer, you get the training you need. If you're in sales, you get the same. Sales and engineering tools help get the job done and when they don't, research is thorough and the tools are replaced as needed (software, etc...). The company seriously vets new product before recommending as a solution. In-house company 'picnics' or Thanksgiving in July, Christmas dinners, potluck, etc... add to the family-like atmosphere of this organization. Bonuses. Yes bonuses.
Cons
Under performers can be cut quickly but this can be countered by evidence of commitment, so it's not completely a con.
