Apart of GE Aviation so there is alot of innovation There is alot of work and future years projections show that there will be even more The shop hourly employees are union Ability to work with the military if in a customer facing role which is great for networking Peers are fun, people in lower entry level jobs make this place fun Salary employees have permissive pto which can be great again with the right leader. Shop employees get leave up front at the beginning of the year. Good paternity benefits for the US

Seasoned employees promoted to people leaders when they lack the skills to be effective and should stay as single contributors vs promoted to people leader. Some leaders white knuckle work instead of allowing people to grow and take on more tasks. There is a bad culture of insiders/outsiders. If you make friends with the right people you’ll always be invited to the table. Bad work/life balance under SOME leaders, others do really well in promoting a balanced life.

Ability to do a 4 day working week. Great place to work if you work in the offices. Good benefits scheme.

Management don't know what they are doing. They do not value traditional skilled workers. Still building aircraft like it's stuck in the 1960s. No career progression. They think more of workers with no engineering qualifications than workers who have completed a craft apprenticeship. Management gaslighting employees who highlight quality problems on the shop floor. Salary is nowhere near where it should be when compared to local competitors. Communication is shocking throughout the buisness.
