Pros
History - Douglas Dynamics has been around for decades, and has a history of being a well-run company. Reputable brands within their respective industries. Management - we have a very strong, accessible, and high performing management team. Very friendly, and open to conversations and feedback. Culture - Douglas has always had (and continues to have) a family feel. Relationships and in-person communication are very important. Growth - It's fun to be part of a growing company. This has created growth / promotion / role change opportunities for many of our employees. I truly enjoy my job, and the team of people I work with. I enjoy working for a stable, growing, and well managed company.
Cons
As the company grows (and as a public company) it's hard to maintain the family feel - but thus far management is doing a good job with that.
