Culture: The culture here is special. Everyone is working extremely hard towards a shared mission and vision. It's a truth-seeking culture full of people who don't have an ego, which is a really refreshing and motivating environment to be in on a daily basis. It's a creative team that is willing to takes risks and has fun in the process. People here are supportive and I enjoy being around them. This is the first company I've worked at where everyone really believes in the company values and works to live by them on a daily basis. You hear the company values referenced and repeated all the time! CEO: I've really admired and enjoyed every CEO I have worked with in my career, but Dote's CEO takes the cake. She is incredibly passionate and smart, while be truth-seeking and ego-less. She is data-driven but also has great gut instinct. She sets the tone for the rest of the team and is a great model of the company values. Demo: Building for a Gen-Z female audience is interesting, fun and engaging!
Cons
Office space: The office space needs some work - it can get really cluttered and messy, which isn't a great work environment for me personally. Good news is that a redesign and cleanup is in progress as we speak! Commute: I commute from East Bay and the 16th street BART stop isn't always a great experience.
