Pros
The money is legitimate and always shows up on time. You will fly an average of 200-360 hours per year.
Cons
Contract Keeps Changing Hands. Dangerous place for women, minorities, and civilians. Complete locker room and good boys club. If you do not hold a previous military rank you will be treated differently. Open door policy, but closed door meetings get the people they want out fired. Several good colleagues were involved in incidents and accidents. Fault-Free safety reporting system will get you put on a list to be terminated. Don't dare make any statements of safety against current or former military as a civilian. If you have less than 3000 hours with 2000 dual given or previous military experience your credentials as an aviation professional will be invalidated. Your military flight students are immune to any training errors and you will be personally held responsible for student poor performance. Significant lack of integrity in several of the management. A few honest good guys. Not many opportunities for promotion as a civilian, previous military will always out rank you regardless of degrees. Time off policy is unlimited, but direct management is generally not understanding for some civilians.
