The technical teams have no information on the projects'/department's financial feasibility/performance. The management team is totally separated from the technical departments and might give totally wrong feedback about a department's financial performance. A good employee technically might face unfair (not based on his performance) dismissal, together with other colleagues, due to bad pricing of projects, or distribution of the profits from projects unevenly among the departments- leading to unprofitable department's performance. unreliability of making long term housing/life plans and arrangements based on the top management feedback. unjustified dismissal of the employees of a whole technical department on short notice period, insecurity which led to indebted employees and toxic situations.
