      Pros

      great pay housing allowance pays for health benefits such as gym great for your resume great employees and employers

      Cons

      sometimes if your fellow co-op takes off the work load can pile up wished there was more projects but the ones I had took a while so it makes sense rarely allowed time off although that changed after new co-ops came in they didn't allow us to participate in mill activities because we were hired through SRI and it's a union mill.

      Pros

      Close knit excellent maintenance teams that seem to do the impossible with the amount of understaffing over the years. Couldn't ask for a better place or people to work with. I have loved my time at this mill. Domtar has no idea at the quality of the institution\people that they are casting off into the abyss.

      Cons

      The corporation as a whole I am not a fan of. It seems they acquired Resolute FP to strategically dismantle it. They have closed several of the RFP mills and Coosa Pines an absolute institution that has been the backbone of the community for over 75 years is the next on the chopping block in May 2026.
