Pros
Fellow employees are friendly, people work as a team and care for each other. No sales pressure, so it is more of a relaxed environment, even though there are still goals to be met. The rates and products the bank offers are very good so it helps when dealing with customers to meet your goals. Stable company, no risk of buy outs or mergers, there is job security.
Cons
Computer system is out dated, many simple requests can't be done in branch because of that and a central department needs called. More busy work than there needs to be, an updated computer system and allowing the branch staff more responsibility will make their jobs easier and make the customer experience way better. A customer shouldn't have to wait a week to get a statement for example, the branch should be able to print it on the spot. Since there is no commission or bonus structure, the pay is lower than what you can get at other banks.
