Pros

Training is ok. Company events are fun. employees are great people. Laid back. Gym reimbursement. Branch Support is good, if they like you.

Cons

Challenging to move up internally. If you do get promoted you're paid significantly less than someone with less experience externally... Which causes massive turnover. A lot of unnecessary paperwork. Pay is SO LOW compared to other banks and companies its worth getting the experience and leaving. Pension is frozen. Upper management need to start investing more in the younger employees rather than catering to the people retiring in the next 5 years. Very old minded. No set amount of sick days or personal days.... Upper Management gets bonuses that are ridiculously high. Doesn't add up. You have to do a lot of kissing butt to get anywhere in this place. If one upper management person doesn't like you.... Goodluck with your career. Very political. If you're a woman..... GOODLUCK.

Pros

Very friendly, decent amount of knowledge able to be gained. Team supports you and encourages you.

Cons

After learning the tools (intune, felxera, etc) things become more and more repetitive.

Pros

Plenty of opportunity at dollar for growing your knowledge and experience. Leadership does care about their people and there is a a fair bit of access to executive management. Benefits are pretty good with insurance, gym reimbursement, 401k match and other things.

Cons

Performance incentives are sorely lacking here. If you are a high performer, you get the same performance incentive distributed into your 401k as someone who is average. Management also has a track record of adding responsibilities but not necessarily increasing compensation. The other main item is that the majority of employees have started and stayed at dollar. Coming in externally with difference experiences can be challenging.
