Pros

easy to operate, training and schematics are readily available, manager training is extensive, easy to talk to upper management, good leadership, good bonus plans, take managers on outings.

Cons

Pay is a little low, Chart hours don't make sense nor match up, Scheduling system is completely outdated, Inventory system is outdated, Inventory sheets are entirely too long, need to auto generate where the product comes in at and where the standard is being accounted for, need to increase the manages per cafe difficult to run store with three managers, 4 for busy cafe. We would have better quality of life and better support to complete tasks with more managers, computer system is terribly slow we would decrease ringing time by thirty seconds if it didn't lag or freeze constantly.

Hello! It's great to hear that you have such high regards for our training, and leadership team. While the current scheduling system is not always perfect it is pretty close, but you will be happy to hear that there will be a new scheduling system in 2017 that will be more intuitive! There is also a new inventory system coming in 2017, as well as new office PC's in the works! If equipment in your cafe can't keep up please let your Area Director know specifically so that we can address and replace if needed, we will absolutely upgrade if necessary. Thanks again for your feedback, it is much appreciated.

Pros

I entered this job with five years experience already as a server, though with zero bar knowledge. The five day, planned and structured training modules and shadowing are helpful for those not familiar with restaurant work or certain aspects of it (such as I was). Frequent sales or other campaign contests made the shift fun and earned me some extra cash from time to time. I worked with many lively, friendly, funny, and otherwise fun people to be around.

Cons

While working with many people that were joys to be around, management's overall lack of conflict resolution left much to be desired when issues arose. Hours also varied in extremes between understaffing and present employees not getting help they need on the floor or behind the line and overstaffing when brining back students during the holidays/summer and giving a position to whoever walked in the door. The latter which led to loyal team-members seeking out secondary or other all together roles elsewhere.
