Pros

Job stability. worked there for 10 years and only laid off in the 2020 oilfield crash in addition to covid 19.

Cons

which foreman and managers like you matters more than your work ethic, attendance, or professionalism benefits have been going down continually over the whole 10 years. no 401k, medical benefits are horrible and expensive. looking at a min of $120/week for self, up to $300+/week for family. on top of that a minimum $5000 deductible for self, up to $18000 for family. no "sick" days or any kind. you can either use your vacation time for sick days or lose pay. If you re looking for a job to earn your way up, look somewhere else. If you are looking for a job to slack off but brown nose your way up, apply here
