Pros
I have to say the only pro was driving and seeing kids smile when you sold them ice cream. But that is a general part of the sales with any job is what you sell and to whom.
Cons
My heart stopped in the er from their neglect of vehicle maintenance. I was a victim of bad practices at this company. As another reviewer mentioned that there were multiple cases of carbon monoxide poisoning. I was the one that had been hospitalized. It started a month or so into the job. While the owner was changing out something on the truck I was taking he dropped that he still had to fix a known exhaust leak that went into the cabin of the car. Several weeks later the owner had us drive in the snow. This same vehicle did not have a heater so I had to bundle up and roll the windows up when not is use for sales. About an hour or so into driving I started to feel dizzy and sick to my stomach with a massive headache. I called my dad who has a medical background and he urged me to go to the er for carbon monoxide poisoning. I called the owner and begged to go to the hospital. He tried to brush it off but I told him if he didn’t take me I would drive or call 911. At the hospital I was tested for carbon monoxide poisoning and had been treated accordingly. However during this time they treated my severe headaches with morphine... my heart stopped in the er. I found out I’m deathly allergic to it. When I left both business owners were there waiting for me and showed little to no concern. They wouldn’t talk to me or say they were sorry. I understand they didn’t want to say sorry acting like they were guilty so they wouldn’t have any legal actions taken against them. But I think that’s all I wanted to hear was sorry. Sorry your heart stopped. Sorry we neglected our vehicle maintenance. I still see that vehicle on the road today and it breaks my heart that not only myself but others got sick as well from such neglect.
