Pros

freedom, okay environment until the move to old office.

Cons

Moved to a KPI focused culture since the move back to group offices. No longer a start-up culture with too much focus on numbers.

Really sorry to hear you feel this way. We have had positive feedback about the office move and we are now offering District4 employees the same incentives as the rest of the group; Lunch Club, High Fliers, Training and LOV nominations. We don't believe KPI's are corporate and there have always been targets in place but if you have any suggestions, please feel free to speak with our COO - she is always open to new ideas!

Pros

Every recruitment business works differently, and since joining District4, I learned that different recruitment businesses can have vastly different attitudes towards the industry resulting in different working practices, harboring different work cultures. Ours is simple - we've built a community of open/like-minded individuals with a real drive to achieve while building functioning niche, tech communities at the same time, with a platform for success offering a balance of support and autonomy overlooked by an incredible leader. Everyone knows their role, what is needed to succeed and we help each other to get there. We regularly prove that you don't need to work towards KPI's to achieve, you just have to work smarter. (Also - dress code isn't a thing so we wear tees and trainers).

Cons

There aren't any cons if the rewards offered match your motivations and your driven to achieve them

Pros

A company built to buck the trend and try out truly innovative ways to change the industry for the better. Not only leading the way in hosting and creating many events within their niche markets, the founders at District4 have even gone as far as building a Community Platform, a place for engineers and enthusiasts to share and exchange content and ideas. Great environment to work in as well which celebrates every individuals achievements. The company is full of young professionals who have a drive to succeed. Everyone's background is completely different and it makes for a great team culture. Strong benefits package as well including flexible working and business expense cards (really helps when you're looking to build out your market)

Cons

Can't really think of any
