Pros
This review is for the DE Warehouse, not the retail store.
- Good pay for entry level work
- Friendly environment
- Little to no micromanagement or strict quotas
- Helpful and patient supervisors & team leads
- New management / CEO actually cares about the ground level employees and actively works to make your job easier.
- Due to small staff, you will learn a variety of skills to cover multiple areas
- Despite being a warehouse environment, there is A/C. (yes this is important enough to list; we are in Texas after all.)
- You are given a lot of agency to make your own decisions
Cons
- No real written SOP, and most all communication is by word of mouth
- Inventory of parts and supplies can be limited or delayed often
- Organization is often lacking unless you take the initiative to improve it yourself
- Many things are handled on a case-by-case basis
- Some sales and listing employees will not communicate well with inventory and makeready leading to discrepancies
- Small company means a limited budget for perks, bonuses, or raises / advancement.
