I struggled to find any significant pros during my time at Discord. The company's fast-paced environment could be viewed as a potential growth opportunity for some, but it often resulted in overwhelming workloads and unrealistic expectations. The office location was decent, but that's about it.
Cons
My experience as a full-time frontend developer at Discord was extremely disappointing. The leadership lacked clear direction, causing constant shifts in project priorities. The work-life balance was virtually non-existent, leading to burnout and strained relationships. Communication breakdowns and a lack of support made it challenging to succeed. Compensation was not competitive, especially considering the demands placed on employees.
