Pros
All of my colleagues shared a similar passion for music. Management were careful to evaluate the different strengths of the employees (such as a particularly rich knowledge of a certain genre of music) and utilize them in meaningful ways. A relatively fixed schedule meant a trade-off of flexibility for consistency in number of hours scheduled.
Cons
This location drew in a wide variety of customers from many different backgrounds, and with that variety came quite a few challenging customers. We always had to pay careful attention to loss-prevention strategies, and a few times some customers seemed outright threatening. The company's policy of selling actual porn provided even more opportunities for awkward and occasionally concerning encounters.
