Cons
Our CRO is a slob. He never leaves his house and when he attends meetings he's in a t-shirt and looks homeless. He is an embarrassment and why I'm so glad he doesn't talk to my dealers. His RVPs have learned from him and now barely leave their house and go visit dealers. He even said on a conference call that he was only here for the money and will ride it until the wheels fall off. He offers zero to no support even though he will tell you how great he is at everything. I wish he would prove it just once as he has FAILED this company miserably. The company keeps laying off the sales people (RSM's) and we are down to only 10 RSM's and a CRO + 3 RVPs to manage 10 of us. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize there are too many chiefs and not enough indians. I knew when all the good executives and sales leadership left the company we were in for tough times as those people genuinely cared about the company and the employees. It was nice to have their support and their professionalism was well beyond what we have now. It's like we've gone from working for the best run high end well respected dealership to a dirt lot used car dealership with subhuman management.
