Pros

PTO and closure during Christmas and NYE

Cons

The company just had a big "let's look at our biases!" workshop because of BLM. I think it's spurring a lot of people to come out of the woodwork with their complaints. In the years I've been here I've faced so much discrimination as a woman. As a woman I've seen my white male coworkers get promoted before me and get the best assignments. I've had to do the grunt work while they're off chugging beer in the cafeteria with male leadership. I spent three years pushing myself and trying to get a promotion only to see two men get promoted who were only at the company for less than a year. This is not usual. This happens on most accounts. All leadership is male. They only promote other men. I was invited to a conference as a diversity representation and then told to gather materials for the team while all the men invited were allowed to schmooze and network. I work on a huge project for the team and the men on the account took credit for my work and told me that sometimes leadership needs to take credit so clients don't think "lower level employees" are the ones doing the work. I've watched as the men on the account come in and make new changes without consulting the women who've been here longer and who know more. They assume any women with more knowledge doesn't know what they're talking about. They say their ideas are better. They get out of doing actual work and get everything handed to them on a silver platter. Myself and three other women on my team have worked so hard to be the backbone of this account and ALL of us were told we weren't high enough on the lit of promotions. But the white male coworker who did none of the work but got all the credit was promoted. I had no mentorship. My career manager never met with me. The men on my account had career managers who were at the SVP level. I was left abandoned. Whenever I brought up my concerns, I was told I was imagining things. I had records of what was happening, but the men on the account gaslit me and my coworkers and told us it never happened. I was called hysterical for imagining slights that didn't exist. I was told I had to do my "duty" and spend my time in the trenches even though men with much less experience than me were hired and promoted for no reason. This company is absolutely horrible. It's toxic and hates women. Do not work here if you're a woman. Do not work here if you're queer. Do not work here if you're BIPOC. They only care about white straight men.
