Failed to make payroll for 3 months, then lied to Dept. of Employment Security about reason for termination. - Lead Developer Digital Masterplanning Employee Review

Failed to make payroll for 2 months (paid monthly) to W2 full-time employees while promising funds were 'on the way'. Tried to work an agreement to pay owed wages via 1099 over the course of the next year upon finally admitting they could not pay (in writing). When I filed for unemployment benefits they said I was fired for 'insubordination'. I had to appeal this, and also filed a wage complaint with the Department of Labor. Stay away.
