- very good experience for developing sales skills
- freedom to create your own customer base
- no ceiling on commission

- salary is a "draw" must make sales up to draw before being eligible for commission
- directionless management
- sales quotas unrealistic
- Benefits are of little to no use and are capped so low
- corporate sales pushed by management to retail for self management in order to make higher commission for ownership
- commissions are withheld or clawed back by corporate
