Pros
Digilent has a very relaxed atmosphere and is very flexible. This is especially helpful for engineering students who have such demanding schedules. You can choose your own hours, even if you just drop in for an hour between classes. Just make sure you're getting your work done of course. You have a lot of freedom as an intern to choose your own projects too, which is cool.
Also, free lunch every two weeks and interns are invited to all the company activities (Christmas parties, bowling, etc.)
Cons
Very unorganized. Managers and department heads seem to be out of the office a lot, and if they are in the office then they're probably in a meeting. As a new intern you're pretty much just put at a desk and hardly given any training or direction. New interns generally have a few weeks before they get computer logins, their own desk, other needed materials. This makes it a difficult place to start at. If you're self-driven though and give it some time, it gets a little better.
