Cons
The company is led by husband and wife( owners) who are unethical. Their policies are not at all employee friendly. You are forced to abide by the policies for your career and growth. But these policies are unethical. For example, a decent increment is tied to a bond and if you break it you need to pay 2 months salary though that much cost company has not even incurred on you. For not wearing id card they charge 50 rs penalty. For late marks they charge penalty. You need to work on your own laptop unless you don't have one. No employee benefits..minimal leaves, etc. No transparency...they don't even provide salary slip which is purely unethical and not transparent. The ceo will praise but please don't take it too seriously as tomorrow if you don't bring the same output ( obviously we can't always bring great output) he will insult you and the company can even remove you saying you don't bring value. So they only value your work if it is good. They don't value you as an individual. That is why I said it is not at all employee centric though ceo may say big big things. It is a 10 year old company but it still calls itself a startup. Nothing is constant and stable.. people come and go .. strategies change...clients come and go...policies too change...and are inconsistent...the hr( owner's wife) can mold the policy according to what seems the best for the company in that situation. And yes, for increment also you need to go to her cabin again and again and beg for your increment ( something that you earn for your hardwork over the year). So if you are looking for an ethical company with employee centric culture this company is not for you. For short term still ok but can't spend years here...no growth...also the ceo ( though ceo) will come to your table again and again to discuss work no matter if you are junior or senior...very irritating
Pros
1.] Disciplined: They are strict about timing, but they always considered my late comings cos I lived far. 2.] Caring: Even though I got into a few arguments with management, they punished me but still always acknowledged my talents and efforts. 3.] Considerate: They gave me WFHs on days I genuinely didn't feel well. 4.] Clear Directions: A lot of times entrepreneurs start companies without having idea about marketing -- But here the CEO was not only knowledgable, he was also passionate about marketing. 5.] Appreciative: Even smallest of my ideas were praised - Never got my hands on best performer, but still got an appreciation email for a small SEO strategy. 6.] Upskilling: They constantly trained all employees on hardcore SEO aspects of business 7.] Fun: They take celebrations seriously and host Fun Fridays every alternate week, along with giving compulsory WFH to all employees on Saturdays! I remember having left this company with a lot of frustrations, but I now realize that they gave me some of the most valuable lessons and skills. Hope they prosper!
Cons
Conflicting suggestions: At times the middle management has different expectations regarding quality of work, than the top management. But in my years of experience with multiple companies, such problems exist with many companies
