Good culture but concern over layoffs and job security - Sales Executive Dice Employee Review

I was here for the better part of a decade and absolutely loved being here! Company culture was great and the work-life balance was second to none. I was able to be a full time dad and a full time employee. I was unfortunately laid off, otherwise this would have been the place I spent my entire career.

Nothing noteworthy to complain about. As with most companies, change can be slow and sometimes that's an impediment for sales growth. The only thing I would caution is occasionally a new product has been released or a new process implemented that directly impacts sales but without any real prior discussion with sales/sales leadership. Some of those changes were unneeded and slowed us down.

The offices are nice, and decent benefits. They give decent severance packages.

They've had 4 layoffs in less than 2 years. People get laid off then the C-Suite goes on a fancy "BOD" trip. There is definite nepotism in the company. Women are the first to be laid off.
