Don't work here - Associate Attorney Diaz Case Employee Review

I love it here. Honestly, I was nervous at first because I’m the youngest one working there, but they are so accepting as to who they hire. I started working there at 16 as an attorneys assistant to a family law attorney. I gained so much experience when it came to legal terminology, processes, and even social skills. It literally is like being a part of a family. You ask for help, and people are more than willing to show you how to do something no matter how long it might take them. Personally, my favorite part is free lunch sometimes and cake on your birthday! No, but in all seriousness, my experience here has been a dream. I never thought I would actually say that I love to work!! Whether you’re looking for experience, or are just looking for a job, I know working here will do nothing but benefit ones working experience. From the first day I started working there, I learned more about topics like DACA, citizenship, etc. than I ever could have reading a book! Love it here and 100% recommend. Everyone here is so comfortable with each other and it’s such a relaxed and secure environment. Especially now that the office relocated to Berwyn, everyone just feels so much closer and in sync. Before working here, I always preferred working by myself but now I love being a part of a team that works together and leaves no one behind. Unfortunately, I had to leave to focus on my studies, but they were more than understanding when I was there and they are so flexible with scheduling!!

I have nothing bad to say about them! If you’re looking to go into law or just experience at a law firm, I say apply! It made me realize I wanted to pursue a career as a family law attorney!

Other than sometimes having free food can’t think of much more pros. Lot of lil party lunches but not much else lol

Low pay no benefits what so ever they do not even offer direct deposit. Employees checks bounce, employees are belittled and their jobs are threaten. The number of clients out weighs quality and capabilities of this firm. Random people do the consultations which i believe to be illegal as only lawyers should provide legal advice. Their motto is “fake til you make it” meaning as long as you can fool the client you can open the case which is their ultimate goal. Clients are ignored and the firm takes months to get things done and that if they actually get it done yet still charge $50 late fee even if they are one day late for payments. They blame the bad reviews on the poor customer service but in reality it’s the poor work they do! Lazy lawyers and lazy “paralegals”. Management is a joke...They have horrible organization. Employees don’t last it’s very rare when employees stay longer than a year most quit due to the poor management and pay. They rip off clients. They had many clients opened for DAPA cases, DAPA was never in effect it was just a proposal, a non existent process. There was about 20+ files and all those people left about $100-$200 down payments for something that never existed And of course they were never refunded. Working here will be a waste of time you will not gain any valuable skills other than know how to avoid and lie to customers.
