Pros
The tech room is the best part of the company hands down. The people I worked with on a daily basis were good, hardworking people.
Cons
You will not receive positive feedback. I was there for almost 2 years and I don't think anyone outside of the tech room told me "nice work". I don't need to be handed a trophy everyday but a positive comment once or twice a month would have been nice and made me feel appreciated. Anyone inside the tech room will take the blame for mistakes. I felt like I was working with children the last six months I was employed there. Management will not except responsibility for the mistakes they make. It was always my fault no matter the circumstances. This was the same for everyone in the tech room. It was exhausting. During my time there I noticed that the women are not treated the best. They are talked down to and belittled. Well, unless you are in a relationship with another employee. I got the sense that maybe it was time to leave when two 10+ year employees left during my time there. I wasn't there as long of course but it looked like the company was heading in the wrong direction if it forced long time employees out. Lack of investment towards employees and the work-space. Employees requested new chairs for over a year. When we finally got them most went to the conference room where no body sits. I understand some people this may not be a problem, but when you spend 30-35 hours in a chair weekly I would prefer not be in some $75 chair. Pay was sub-par. Compared to other IT companies at least.
