Pros
Diamond Communications is a fast-growing company that is always on the lookout for new investment opportunities and talented people to join their team. I joined the Diamond team after graduating college and found the analyst position to be a great learning experience due to the heavy interaction with senior management and exposure to many different areas of the business (sales, marketing, management, finance, presentations, investment opportunities, corporate development, etc.). The company is comprised of extremely intelligent and experienced individuals coming from many different lines of work (banking, financial services, engineering, wireless, and so on. Senior management was very helpful in terms of allowing you to take on new things that interest you, and they do a great job recognizing hard work as well as offering advice/feedback. The company as a whole truly cares about seeing growth and career success from all of their employees.
Cons
As a younger former employee, the location is not ideal, but is in close proximity and a reasonable commute from New York City, Hoboken, and Jersey City As the company is relatively small and everyone is extremely busy, it is sometimes difficult to coordinate with others on projects that require multiple different departments. Also, as expected with a smaller company, some problems arise with data management and integrity.
