Pros

they manufacture interesting products, good location

Cons

Low morale. Underpaid. There are no opportunities for advancement, pay raises for hourly employees stopped years ago, and will not be coming back anytime soon. Wages are well below industry standard. Favoritism is rampant, and it's easy to sense the frustration and general dissatisfaction most coworkers have when you ask them about Diamond. You must produce (and pay for) a doctors note if you take a sick day. They will harass you about how many sick days you have taken even when it's below the number of sick days you're allotted each year. They won't keep employees informed and if you ask a direct question rarely will you get a direct answer.

Pros

Having been at Diamond for almost four years, I can say that my experience has been nothing but positive in terms of how smoothly things operate here. My experience in the HR department has been truly rewarding. At Diamond, we organize year-round events and activities, including family and employee gatherings, sports events, office events, BBQs, parties, and draws. We also celebrate the birthdays of all employees. The working environment is relaxed and supportive. Much of the work is project-based and team-oriented, so it does not feel repetitive or robotic. Unlike many manufacturing environments, the facility is bright, with plenty of natural sunlight coming through the glass roof. There is no excessive noise from large machinery, which contributes to a comfortable and pleasant workplace. Additionally, there are ample internal growth opportunities across departments such as Production, Quality, Engineering, and Sales.

Cons

The only drawback I would mention is that management implements changes at a slower pace; however, there has been steady improvement over time.
