Pros

They treated employees to free food, fun culture

Cons

A lot of discrimination if you are not filipino. This is a problem not only in Dexcom but across manufacturing companies in San Diego, but somehow this is a consistent problem I have been seeing. I guess, it doesn't really matter when most of these manufacturing companies are looking to leave San Diego anyway, so it doesn't seem like they care much about their manufacturing employees. But real talented people that can take the company to better heights were often let go due to this discrimination, and employees who were underqualified were often moved up due to favoritism and ethnic discrimination. In addition, Dexcom's pay was extremely poor compared to the amount of work and knowledge they required for a manufacturing job. Having left and worked in more diverse environments and having a far better experience, I can look back and say Dexcom's manufacturing was truly one of the most toxic manufacturing work places I've ever been at.

Pros

Growing company fast paced with great potential impact for patients

Cons

Company seems to have grown faster than the leadership … many of the leaders grew up at Dexcom and the company is bigger
