Pros

- Competitive pay, great benefits & RRSP matching, - Amazing MD (smart, supportive, open door policy) - Great leadership team. Seek and welcome feedback from employees on an ongoing basis. - Friday lunch, office snacks, good vacation, learning/training allowance. - Fun team, they hire people who align with the companies core values (sure, this won't work out 100% of the time). - Operations manager in Chicago is fantastic, she takes care of everyone and is always super helpful. - Flexible hours, get your work done and have pride in what you do. You'll do great and love working here. - Annual trips to Lithuania for Summercamp (you want to Youtube this) and an annual kick off event held in Chicago. Reading over some other reviews, I find some disconcerting and offensive that I feel obligated to address a couple of things. - I am a female and can honestly say I have never felt in any way less valued than my male counterparts. - The office I work in is diverse, majority is actually female, non-white (not that that matters to me personally, it's a reflection of the applicant pool). So all in all, in my experience, Devbridge is a great company to work for. I would highly recommend it. I've really enjoyed being a part of the Devbridge family and hope I will be for many years to come.

Cons

The office needs to be closer to my house! :)

Pros

Devbridge Group aspires to be a successful digital company and at times creates an atmosphere that is reflective of this. Additionally there are several perks, not dissimilar to other startups, like ping pong, Friday lunches, gym memberships and video games.

Cons

The actual pros of working for Devbridge start and stop with what I wrote above. Unfortunately, the company has issues with hiring and retaining good talent and it's reflective of serious problems stemming from senior leadership. The team of co-founders can't seem to get out of their own way. They are unable to trust their employees and because of this, micro management is rampant. There is also a high level of disrespect and dismissive attitudes toward the rest of the organization, specifically to women. The company also suffers from "bait & switch" hiring practices. It's not uncommon to be hired for one position, only to be shifted into another without a discussion. Others found themselves hired for mid-level positions with promising responsibilities but in reality, the positions were stripped down to entry-level tasks. Unfortunately, senior-leadership lacks enough awareness to recognize that they are setting their employees up for success. Instead, when someone leaves the company or is fired, it is communicated to everyone else that "they couldn't hack it".
