Pros
Technology area: Can be satisfying depending on which group you are in. Management was trying to improve for the long-term. Remains to be seen how that works out.
Cons
Technology area: Extensive outsourcing and employment shift to lower cost cities has reduced the opportunities in some groups (eg, support functions / groups). Probably best for positions closest to the business (eg, front-office supporting business analysts, etc). Some roles/groups did not receive equal respect by mid to upper IT management.
