Pros

Team interactions can be nice - it really depends on the team you are allocated. You can be in a great team with lots of colleges that can help, or be the only one from your specialty a small team that forces you to do more than you want Good for Juniors

Cons

Disorganized management Limits on what tools you can use (to the point that it frustrates all developers) Work management - it used to be 2 days per week on site, it will be 3 Being a bank, upper management will never understand/do not put in the effort in understanding why do you need the things you require (as an "IT specialist") "QA? We don't really need it. Just make some clicks and if it works it's ok" attitude. Also big heads up for QA: not a QA friendly environment - few people understand that Testing is actually needed. "Too many responsibilities for one person and in need of colleagues? Management has no money for that. Lets widen our horizons and wear more than one hats. It is an opportunity to learn beyond your job description and widen your knowledge" - attitude, to the (negative) extreme
