Pros
The people at the company are fantastic! The camaraderie and teamwork made the workplace enjoyable. Flexibility is a strong point. Still fully remote and unlimited PTO (project work permitting). Health Insurance was amazing!
Cons
The company went through several rounds of layoffs between 2022-2023, which created significant uncertainty and instability. Over the past few years, leadership has become increasingly hands-off, especially in the aftermath of these layoffs. The Executive Leadership Team shifted its focus heavily towards sales (which is important) but, unfortunately, this left little time or attention for the people who make the company run. Our long-standing motto of “People first” was one of the first things to fall by the wayside when times got tough. Leadership made minimal effort to rally or support team members during these challenging periods, and employee engagement was largely left to a few dedicated individuals who were already stretched thin. This neglect not only caused a decline in morale but is also eroding the once-strong company culture that had been a key part of our identity. As a result, there has been considerable voluntary turnover following the layoffs. Many of the most experienced and devoted employees have left, driven away by the lack of direction from leadership, limited growth opportunities, and/or stagnant compensation. The loss of these valuable team members has only furthered the challenges the company culture faces.
